A spiritual connection is a very direct and personal link with The Creator no matter what form of belief structure a person follows. Each individual is indeed, entitled to their own views of spirituality and should actively cultivate them in accordance with their own intuitions. This understanding brings about a freedom of expression in ones' life and an understanding that our actions effect each and every one around us including all life forms (plants, animals, trees, etc).

A good example of actions and consequences is shown in the ailing condition of our Earth due to pollution and mismanagement of resources. Many pre-civilized earth-based cultures/peoples believed that no one person could tell another how to live. Each individual was responsible to seek out his or her own vision of life and to have the conviction to act in accordance with their new found understanding. This brings about true individualism within the context of the world without promoting the use of coercion or force.

Study in the fist art (Kung-Fu) with its attention to precise physical movements, balance and coordination, directly affects the spiritual development of an individual. The training is intensely personal and should be viewed as a method of self knowledge and understanding; not just a method of self defense and fighting. As the physical strengthens, the spirit solidifies and gains precise focus which leads to the manifestation of higher conciousness so a student may Learn in Strength, Live in Peace.
